The Cinder Group

Great businesses start with great relationships.

Whether you're curious about eXp Realty, exploring a new partnership, or just want to see how we think about building a real estate business, you're in the right place.

Why Cinder

You go further as a pack.

The Cinder name goes back more than 70 years to a family German Shepherd and a tradition that came to represent loyalty, respect and showing up for the people around you.

When Madison and William Stephens built The Cinder Group, those same values became the foundation: build something bigger by helping the people around you build, too.

Madison had already built a successful solo real estate business when she realized there was a ceiling to what one person could do alone. Building a team created room to scale, but it also uncovered something more important: the opportunity to help other agents create businesses and careers of their own.

Today, that idea matters more to us than the size of the team.

"You go further as a pack than you ever could alone, and real success is something best shared."

What if we could build more of that?

We want to create an environment where agents share what's working instead of guarding it. Where new agents get real coaching instead of being handed a license and left to figure it out. Where experienced agents have room to grow beyond their next transaction. And where leaders have the infrastructure to build something that isn't limited by one market, one office or one person.

That question ultimately became bigger than The Cinder Group.

It became a question about the kind of platform we wanted to build on.

And that's what led us to eXp Realty.

Why eXp Realty

What are you building next?

Maybe you want to grow your production.

Maybe you're building a team.

Maybe you want to expand into another market, create additional income streams or simply surround yourself with people who are willing to share what's working.

Those were the kinds of questions we were asking, too.

We spent months talking with top producers and leaders whose businesses and philosophies lined up with ours. Again and again, we found ourselves in conversations with people at eXp Realty.

What caught our attention wasn't simply a different brokerage model.

It was the opportunity to build in more directions.

What stood out to us

Five things that changed how we think about our business.

  1. 01Production

    Build your real estate business.

Keep doing what great agents do: serve clients, build relationships and grow a productive business, supported by eXp's technology, training and collaborative network.

  2. 02Revenue Share

    Participate in growth.

Eligible agents can participate in eXp's revenue share program by helping introduce productive agents to the company and supporting the growth of the organization.

  3. 03Equity

    Build ownership along the way.

eXp offers qualifying agents opportunities to earn stock awards through certain production, attraction and company milestones.

  4. 04Scale

    Build beyond one market.

The cloud-based model, national footprint and shared training gave us infrastructure to grow past the limits of a traditional local brokerage.

  5. 05Bigger Reach

A network far past North Alabama.

Referrals, relationships and collaboration across markets and countries — so a client moving away, or an agent in another state, is still a conversation we can have.

Production is still the foundation. eXp simply gives entrepreneurs more ways to think about what they're building around it.
